Jimmie Johnson muscled his way by Denny Hamlin for the lead of the Goodys Fast Pain Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Johnson held on to win the race.
Johnson drove hard into the corner under Hamlin. He hit the curb and slid up into Hamlin. Both got loose and just about wrecked, but managed to save each of their cars and continue on.
After the incident Hamlin called it short track racing. He said that he would have done the same thing. And if he is in the position to do it to Johnson, he will, he said with a laugh.
