Welcome to Calamity Corner, the blog dedicated to NASCAR wrecks. Unlike most of the sites I have seen dedicated to NASCAR wrecks, this blog is not intended to glorify those wrecks, or celebrate them.
Instead, I intend to cover the wrecks, and the subsquent back-and-forth between drivers and teams over these wrecks.
Oftentimes, many sports writers who cover NASCAR say that the sport is missing rivals, which made it famous. And, while I do not intend to build those rivalries, I hope to highlight the incidents from which these rivalries are born.
